1.a. Optional Extras (Pay online / request during pickup)

• Baby Seat / Booster Seat (subject to availability) 3 euros per day
• Additional Drivers (2 maximum) 3 euros per day
• Car charger USB (subject to availability)
• Young Driver insurance (21-24) 5 euros per day (applies for extra drivers)
• Senior Driver insurance (70-74) 5 euros per day (applies for extra drivers)
One way fee - 25 Euros (applies when changing drop off location).
Out of hours fee - 20 Euros (applies when rental times fall during out office hours 20:00 - 07:00).

2. Driver requirement & Age restrictions

All drivers must be 25 years old and over.
When a driver is under 25 years old must have a minimum of 3 years full driving license.
All drivers must be in possession of a full EU driving license to present it with an identity or passport during car pickup. For non-EU issue driver's license an International Driving License is required.
All National or International driving license must be in English or Latin.
For young drivers under 25 years old and senior drivers over 70 years old an extra insurance is issued, payable during pickup or payable online when booking a vehicle.
Only drivers approved by the company with their required details written on the rental agreement are allowed to use the rental vehicle.

3. Insurance Cover & Limitations

All vehicles are provided with Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W), Third party insurance with excess liability. The third-party insurance with C.D.W provided according to Cyprus law cover against repairs cost relating from any accident caused by the Hirer to other parties.
An excess responsibility applies to all Hirers respectively to each car groups, the amounts are: Group A €750, | Groups A1, B2, B3, B4,  C, D €950 | Group D1 €1500 | Group E1, E2 €2000  
The Hirer must present a valid credit card in order to pre-authorise a security deposit for the vehicle. Depending on the car group security deposit required is €500 - €1000.
The amount is released in the end of the rental agreement after 15 days when the vehicle is retuned with no damages, theft or fine violations and the same amount of fuel.
After the mentioned period of 15 days above the owner according to the rental agreement has the right to charge the Hirer's  credit card for any fine violations might arise after the end of the rental period.
The Hirer and additional drivers are insured only for the period mentioned on the signed rental agreement.
The insurance cover provided with every rental is considered VOID when the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, when the vehicle is driven off road or in unpaved roads, when an unauthorized person/ not mentioned on the rental agreement is driving the vehicle, when the vehicle is used for any illegal purposes and for bad use of the vehicle.
In case of accident, damage or any issue regarding the vehicle please inform us immediately via call (+357) 25 431187 for further assistance. The Hirer is responsible to stay present during any incident unless advised otherwise by the company or police officer present.
The Hirer agrees that the vehicle cannot be used:
• For illegal purposes or racing.
• For pushing or towing a trailer or other carriage.
• When under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• For driving off-road or on unpaved roads.
Chris Car Hire holds no responsibility for your transportation in case of accident or damages in off road areas.
When crossing the border for the north side of Cyprus the insurance is considered VOID. Please bear in mind when visiting the occupied side of Cyprus is at the Hirer’s own risk, as we cannot offer assistance in case of breakdown or accident.  
Chris Car Hire holds the right to claim any amount arise from damages or accident that occur on the north side of Cyprus.
Please have in mind the insurance provided does not cover damages on tires, windscreen, oil sump, car interior, lost or damaged car keys.
Chris Car Hire has the right to charge the Hirer's or additional driver's credit card for any unsettled amounts from damages/fines occured during the rental period.
The Hirer is reponsible to fuel the vehicle with the correct type of gas. 
The Third Party insurance provided for each rental vehicle is according to the Terms & Conditions of the relevant insurance policy with Hire Risks Pool.
In case of accidents insurance does not cover the driver for any costs arising in death or injuries.
For any dispute regarding this rental so far as permitted to Cyprus Law. If the Hirer is an individual the court will be chosen according to the local law, whereas if the Hirer is not an individual the court will be chosen according to the place where the Owner has its registration office.

4. Vehicle information

All our vehicles at Chris Car Hire are regularly checked, serviced and are road legal according to Cyprus Road Transport department requirements for rental cars.  
All vehicles available for rental come with a “Same to Same” fuel policy, fuel level is noted on the rental agreement to avoid any fuel charges.
The rental agreement is the only document required when hiring a car in Cyprus. Our customers during time of pickup receive a rental agreement with a detailed breakdown of all charges and Terms & Conditions of the company. Please have in mind the rental document is an agreement between the Hirer and our company Chris Car Hire.  
The vehicles shown on our website are for guidance only and the Hirer will pick up a similar vehicle. (Size, transmission & number of doors).  Specific vehicle brands are subject to availability.
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to respond on time to the vehicle’s panel indications and should call us immediately at (+357) 25 431187 for further assistance. In case of locked keys inside the vehicle the Hirer must contact us for further assistance, please have in mind any costs arise for recovering the keys will be charged accordingly to the Hirer.  
We advise our customers when driving around Cyprus for many days, to check tire pressure and oil levels.

5. Deliveries & Collections

Our main branch is located in central Limassol. We offer “meet & greet” services in both Larnaka and Paphos airport and all hotels in Limassol region.
All our vehicles are available for short, weekly and monthly rentals.
Airport delivery & collection fees are included in our rates. We advise all our customers to provide the correct flight & contact details when booking with us.  
The Hirer is responsible to drop off the vehicle on the agreed time, location and with the same amount of fuel as stated on the signed rental agreement.
One way fee is applied when changing drop off location. Out of hours fee apply for rentals between 20:00 - 07:00.
For any changes, we advise to inform us within reasonable time via phone at (+357) 25 431187 or email [email protected], to avoid any further daily charges(48hours notice is advised).
Please note, during busy times rental extensions are not guaranteed. If the Hirer fails to drop off the vehicle on the agreed time/date/location will result to extra charges according to vehicle group.
All vehicles must be dropped off with the same amount of fuel. There is no refund for any unused days.
It is advised to check the vehicle for your belongings during drop off, Chris Car Hire refuses responsibility for objects left in the vehicle.
Fines arising during rentals from parking or road violations are the Hirer’s responsibility.
If the Hirer fails to mention or pay for any fine the company has the right to charge the Hirer's given credit card mentioned on the rental agreement. 
Administration fee of 20 Euros is applied for fines paid by the company on behalf of the Hirer.

6. Cancellation Policies

If the Hirer fails to pick up the vehicle on the agreed time & day (with 1 hour grace period) without a fair time warning the reservation is considered a "No show", no refund is made.
If the Hirer cancels the reservation less than 48 hours of the agreed pick up time/date, a 2 days fee is charged according to the rental cost.
If the Hirer cancels the reservation at least 48 hours before the agreed time/date, a full refund is made.
